Groom n’ Groove Thursday Nights at De Berardinis Salon

Dance into the weekend with a blowout, cocktails and good cheer

THE HOTSPOT

De Berardinis Salon is a luxe-feeling reprieve in the heart of Chelsea that features champagne gold décor, chandeliers and dramatic wall-length leaning mirrors at each pristine white station. The salon is owned by Adrian De Berardinis, who comes from a family rich in the tradition of styling; dad Giancarlo  De Berardinis owns salons in Greenwich (where mother Sharon colors hair), Toronto and Milan, while uncle Massimo De Berardinis has previously run salons in the U.S., Canada and Asia.

Every Thursday night from 6pm to 10pm, the gilded doors of De Berardinis Salon open for Groom n’ Groove, a weekly event that affords you the opportunity to try services at a special price, and mingle under the lights of a chic cocktail party.

THE SCHEDULE

Grab a girlfriend and enjoy discounted $30 blowouts (which typically retail for upwards of $50 otherwise), free signature cocktails from a fully stocked bar to anyone receiving a service, a live DJ cranking out move-worthy jams and even $15 false lash applications if you’re looking to up the glam factor. Resident stylist and seasoned MAC makeup artist pro, Kathy Stumpf, is also on hand for expert makeup consultations and touch-ups.

GUESTLIST

Groom n’ Groove attracts neighborhood regulars from the surrounding Chelsea enclave, plus women looking to doll up before a night out on the town in the nearby nightclub-filled streets of the Meatpacking District, where Thursday is the hottest eve of the week to party like a real New Yorker. It’s not unusual to see beauty editors and socialites interspersed in the crowd – girl-about-town Lauren Santo Domingo is a regular who visits for weekly blowouts.
